Seasonal Annual Pass

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if Universal has Concerts at the beginning of August? Thats the only reason I wouldn't get a seasonal pass. Don't want to end up blocked out.

If you mean a power pass, and I am assuming seasonal is the same, but an email to Universal is a good way to be sure.

From Orlando Informer, Universal's 2018 Summer Concerts page:

Power Passes: guests with Power Passes, please note that your admission to Universal Studios Florida is blacked out from June 13 to August 13. However, on concert dates, your pass is valid after 5:00 pm. This means you can attend the June 13th Huey Lewis and the News performance and/or the June 20th Goo Goo Dolls finale concert. (Just don’t expect to have a front spot!)

No, Seasonal Passes are blocked though July, end of December and any days Universal studios has a concert. I have tried calling them and really didn't get an answer. My understanding is its mostly during mardi gras, but I obviously don't want to buy seasonal and then show up and be told we can't get in the park.

You can always buy the Seasonal Pass and if there is a concert during your visit, you can upgrade to next level pass. That way you haven't spent the extra money if there isn't a concert while you are there.

You can also buy normal tickets and upgrade to seasonal or other pass at the park.

I saw the article where this was listed from. These are actually concerts and black out dates from 2015.
