I'm booking my trip tomorrow & the season changes to Dream on 8/16. Does that mean the night of the 16th is at the lower points?

Yep. You book the seasons by the night. So if you arrive in mid-Dec and stay through early January, you will have three seasons.

I just looked in the book & if AKVV is available I would save a whopping 3 points
