Season of the Force

I am planning a trip with friend who has not been in 10 years or so. I am debating the first weekend in February (rescheduled from the second weekend) or the end of April. I know 2026 special events have not been announced but looking at 2025 Season of the Force would be going on if we go in April.

For a classic Star Wars fan (Ep. 4 - 6) is it worth a visit during season of the force? Not really interested in any after hours events nor most of the food due to dietary restrictions. I've never paid much attention to what is going on during this quasi-event.

I would suggest including a StarWars night if you are a fan...that's when you really get all the extras. Otherwise, it might just be Hyperspace Mountain overlay and some random merch. The fireworks from SWGE is pretty regular now as is the projection show. Both are pretty cool.

I've done two SW nights, and will probably do another this year.
The costumes are great, lots of characters and because people are busy waiting to have their photo taken with an Ewok, rides are pretty much walk ons. My best memory ? Having a solo boat in both IASW and Pirates. Pirates was almost scary being the only one...

My recollection is that if you don’t go to the after hours special event, most of the offerings will be food and merchandise. There are always a few other things going on though. Space Mountain should be Hyperspace Mountain. Last year, they used the season to introduce Luke Skywalker to Galaxy’s Edge, and that was pretty cool for classic fans. In a previous year, they brought out the BD droids which I think are currently visiting WDW. They have also used the time to introduce new Star Tours scenes. That seems unlikely this year as they plan to update the Millinneum Falcon with new scenes and story in May as a tie-in for the Mandalorian movie.
