Just wondering if anyone has used one of these luggage carriers on a Mazda MPV? We have a 2000 model and the fitment chart from Sears says there is no fitment for this thing. I don't understand why, the rack on the MPV is adjustible so I know it will fit. I am sure there is some liability issue and as an engineer I understand that, but I also know that doesn't mean it won't work, more just they don't recommend it. I am assuming that since it is rated at 100 pounds capacity and the Mazda crossbats are rated at 80 pounds, that is the reason, but no one at Sears can tell me for sure. If that is truly the reason, then simple, I won't load it over 80 pounds. Can't see me doing that anyway, it would just be nice to have some extra space for pillows, small bags and misc., I would keep the main luggage in the van so it is a little safer. Has anyone out there used one (or similar) on their MPV before?

Thanks
