Sears kidvantage program

Does anyone know about their kidvantage warranty program? Something about if the kids clothing item is worn they'll replace it? Does Sears still do this? Do you need to keep the receipt? Is it just worn or worn or outgrown? What defines worn? Do you get the exact replacement (ie same shirt or pants) or money towards the same type of clothing? Any info would be greatly appreciated since I need to do some school clothes shopping for my DD4 who's starting kindergarten.

It is if the item is worn through before your child outgrows it, then they will replace it. make sure you put on that purchase that you have kidvantage and it saves it somewhere in their computer system i think. i would say worn out implies holes.

I have used this warranty for their jeans (Toughskins). My boys wear out the knees in their pants so fast, I can't keep up. So I started buying Toughskins which have reinforced knees. Guess what.. they still wore them out. My SIL told me to take them back to Sears. I did and they replaced them with the same identical size and brand, no questions asked. You don't need the receipt. I have never tried this with other clothes but LOVE this warranty for boys jeans.

My mom just took back 3 pair of Canyon River Blue jean, since this is a Sears brand she did not need a receipt. If she returns another brand like Levi's she needs a receipt. Th estore did not have the same style of Canyon River Blue jeans- so she was able to choose another style in the same size.

It's a great program, I just wish I knew about it when DD was younger

I've also returned several pairs of jeans when DD wears the knees out. They often don't have the same style in the store, then they just let me pick out something similar as long as it's the same size as the return.
