Does the search funtion on this board not work? For example, I've searched for the words wait, wait list and waiting and get nothing.

Yeah, not so much. You're better off using google, and limiting it to the disboards. Try

"waiting list" site:disboards.com

What is it you're trying to find out?

You'd probably be better off doing an advanced Google search of your wanted term with "disboards.com" as a parameter, (some folks have also reported success doing a Yahoo search).

The topic of the DIS' search function, "Boardtracker", comes up every so often around here, usually on the Technical Support Forum. I'd ask you to do a search, but...
