Searching for small Minnie Mouse backpack

My DD2 is obsessed with Minnie Mouse, and always fights with her brother over his Wiggles backpack. She wants one "OF HER OWN!!!" I didn't think it would be so hard to find a small Minnie Mouse backpack, but it is. I've looked at Disney online; no dice. Most of their backpacks are regular sized. I found one on Ebay that is small, but it's coming from Thailand and isn't exactly the look I was going for. It definitely is marketed more for the Asian countries than the US markets. I love the new "tiki themed" Minnie stuff - why no backpack? They have a purse, no backpack. Bummer.

Does anyone out there have any thoughts one where else I might look? I've considered heading into NYC to hit the big World of Disney store there to see if they might have something that isn't available online - but that seems like a stretch.

What am I missing? Where else can I look?

Try Characterproducts.com There is a standard size Minnie Mouse backpack on there and it says it is also available in toddler sizes.

I work at the Disney Store and they are getting their back to school stuff in.....There are some Minnie accessories but I didn't think to look if there was a backpack....It would be worth to call and ask.

Also their Minnie Beach bag was there on clearance.

I just bought a small minnie beach bag at the disney store during the clearance sale (I went to two different stores-not for it, but fyi-one store had it and another didn't, so you may need to look around a little). It is cute with minnie dressed in beach gear and we bought a matching beach towel at store #2. The sides aren't solid,but are made of a glittered mesh. I pulled on it a bit at the store to make sure it seemed sturdy, otherwise I wasn't going to buy it, but it seemed strong. DD9.5 wanted it because she could easily see what was in the bag and not have to dig through it to find anything. Also it does have a smallish, plastic change purse inside. Hope this helps!

Six flags Great Adventure had them in thier gift shop for about $13.00 right alongside a bunch of Disney Princess stuff.

Funny! I recently ordered one for my DD for our Disney trip. I found it at www.goodypak.com and the bag is small enough and light enough for her to handle carrying around. I had them fill it with stuff for the parks, but I know that I saw you can get it empty too. They will even put a name on the bag for you too.

PJ - while the goodypaks are quite what I'm looking for at the moment, I am eagerly waiting until our vacation so I can order them up for my kids. They're awesome! Those are so cute, but they look HUGE! My kids are just 2 and 4 and I don't know if the packs would work for them. I really just want something to carry a small water bottle, a few snacks and maybe an autograph book or pressed penny book. Do you think they would be way too big? Thanks!

i found this yesterday at Toy R Us for 12.99 and you get a lunch bag for free.
Here is my 1.5 and 3.5 with the Mickey bag. They do have minnie and the princess.
