Searching for a Kitten

Hi! I've been searching for a cream colored male persian kitten. Does anyone know anyone in the Maryland/Virginia area that might have kittens for sale?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Have you tried Petfinder.com? They have all sorts of kitties in shelters on there, and also they have free classified ads, maybe you can post an ad for what you are looking for. The ads are for each state, so you may have some luck. The shelters are catagorized by state as well, so it makes it easier to find a pet near you. Good luck!!

The animal shelters put down kittens all the time. I just read where a shelter near us puts them to sleep without even putting them up for adoption, they have that many. If I wasn't allergic and could have a cat, which I love, I would head right for the shelter. When we picked up our dog they had an entire room full of cats in cages.

I have searched on pet shelter and cattery web sites without any luck. The kitten is for someone else who really wants me to find this particular kitten. I have 7 cats which were all adopted after they showed up at our door at various times. We just fix them and keep them. They all have a very good life!

Here are a couple of searchs on petfinder. Not lots of persians but you might be able to get someone to send you one from further away. Many rescue groups will ship animals.

LOL Jeff! My contacts are really just in the Siberian Cat world. Though I can direct to other "experts" (most in the same way I'm an "expert" ) who might know.

Though I, too, would check Petfinder.org first.

Hi! Thanks for all the help - I have looked at all the sites but can not find a male cream persian kitten. I have seen many beautiful cats that I would love to have for myself! There are some beautiful cats! I never knew until my search that there are persian short hair kittens. I found one of the these but the person only wants a long hair. It is going to be a very special gift if I can find one!
