Is it even possible to get 1 night. We are checking into to Beachclub on the 8 th of February..but we decided to fly out the night of the 7th. And now need a room for 1 night ...any suggestions

Sure is! Just keep checking the website! I just scored a one night at RIV for early April and changed my reservation to include it,

An hour earlier, it wasn’t there. You can also put in a waitlist for some of the bigger resorts like SSR.

If you get within 7 days, give MS a call as they sometimes have things not on thr website

I agree with both @Sandisw and @bobbiwoz . We have one night booked at Days Inn by the airport for $90 with AAA discount. Free shuttle to airport. Free breakfast. Take shuttle back to airport and get on the magical express (you kind of have to fiddle with your "arrival" time if you get my meaning). But get on a waitlist or two and stalk the RAT. Things happen and people need to change plans at last minute.

I like doing the airport hotel thing, because the next morning your "already there"...no morning stress about catching your flight, delays and all that.

Good luck!

thanks..for some reason the airport hotels are so expensive for that night....we get in around 11:30 pm...and to spend 200+ for a few hours is crazy

If I am getting in late, I spend a night at the all stars. Just checking and I do not see any avail at Disney, but could try the 3rd party sites.

I hate spending points for 1 night when arriving late, it seems like such a waste, but that is just me.

If you do one by the airport, you probably want to fudge your arrival flight info to match the time you want the next morning if using DME

RAT is the resort availability tool on the DVC member sites. It might be called something else now....it’s where you go when you click on plan a vacation.

I just changed my plans.....ended up getting a good deal on a rental car so won’t need magical express and got a room closer to Disney for $99. Free breakfast and free parking.

Was thinking about All Stars or Pop, but then remembered the parking fee. It’s good if you are taking the Magical Express though.

To the OP...keep checking the regular Disney site for rooms too.

It is definitely doable, you just have to be very quick when one comes available.

RAT is now last minute getaways, and it is not real time by any means (I think it is updated once a day), but I would always check real time.

Be aware that a good amount of hotels in the area have parking fees, its not just a Disney thing.

When I have a car, I tend to stay at a Marriott and get some points since I do not need Magical Express. Usually on S. Apopka Vineland Road - I think its the Delta By Marriott that I often see good rates at.. If I need DME then its all stars

I don’t use the last minute getaways...I use the regular plan a vacation tab. I was reading reviews for where I’m staying, Fairfield Inn by Marriott and someone was upset about hidden fees. So you got me thinking about parking. Sure enough hidden way down in room details....$15 for parking. But free breakfast. So $115 total. 5 minutes away from our favorite Winn Dixie. So it’s all good. Boy gone are the days when I could get Pop for $82 with a AAA discount.

I think a lot of people use RAT..myself included..to refer to the online booking tool.

Ok, just as long as ppl realize that the last minute getaway list is static and not accurate to the minute. That's the distinction I feel is important
