Sean Hannity at SSR--I think

Not trying to speak for Mr. Fedora, But I read that to mean that the left is all about including, loving and accepting everyone...unless that person disagrees with the views of the left. At that point the love everyone attitude becomes a little more hateful.

Thank you, that was the point I was trying to make. :)

I love Fox News. :sunny: It would be great if they could do a broadcast from the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk. :goodvibes

(Much better than ABC, CBS, NBC or Cnn.)
...certainly more entertaining.;)

I'll have to search for the thread where Jimmy Carter was staying at OKW. I wonder if that thread was filled with vice-versa political polarization? I love when the "all accepting", "do your own thing", "to each his own", left crowd demonstrate their true face.

Both Sean and Jimmy have excellent taste in family vacation destinations. I'm glad they're in my company.

I like your last sentence Johnnie, it's in the Disney spirit. But a couple of things.

First of all, it's a myth that liberals are "all accepting." I'll put my hardworking, honest values up against anyone's, anytime.

Second, are you really comparing, 'vice versa,' a Nobel Peace Prize laureate and former President with a blow-dried talk show screamer? :rotfl:

I hope you're not saying the "hardworking. honest values" are only for liberals or conservatives! There are plenty of such values on either side of the aisle.

I was thinking the same thing, but bit my tongue :upsidedow.

I love these threads.

Democrats suck!
Republicans suck!
Democrats suck!
Republicans suck!

Looks a lot like
Rabbit season!
Duck season!
Rabbit season!
Duck season!

Ugh.

That's all, folks.

As the OP of this thread I honestly had no idea the responses it would ignite. My objective was to mention that a national radio show was being broadcast from our new "home". (Note:all I consider all DVC resorts my home, even if I don't have points there). I also thought it was great to hear talk show hosts (Hannity and Levine) discuss how great everything was at SSR.

I am surprised by the reaction to this thread becuase I really do not like to mix Dis and politics. When I see political postings here I try not to respond to the venom. I didn't think I was starting a political debate by mentioning Hannity. Just as another poster mentioned I would think it was interesting to see anyone form either side of the aisle at SSR or discussing DVC.
The local station that Sean is on is owned by Disney and that is why the broadcast was from WDW. He did it last Thanskgiving also. But the thing that was different this year was that it was from SSR our new DVC home. That was cool-not a political statement.

Of course it wasn't a political statement. But Sean Hannity is a political animal. His show is entirely about politics so by definition any thread about him cannot help but draw observations that will either be pro or anti Hannity.

If you had said...Tony Danza is broadcasting from SSR...odds are you might (might) have gotten one or two responses and then the thread would have died. Sean Hannity is a polarizing entity.

A bad example...... I hate Tony Danza, he is a no talent hack!

He is just as polarizing to me as Hannity is!

Perhaps a better example would be Paris Hilton?

Yo, greenban, whassa mattah with Tony?

Paris Hilton... now that would be alarming.

uhhh...I'm going to refrain from commenting about Paris.

I picked Tony cuz he is a no talent hack!!! That's why I like watching the show...you just don't get tv like that anymore.

For a no talent hack-Tony is doing alright for himself!

Besides, I don't think anyone from Brooklyn can be a "no talent hack".

Yes it is kind of disappointing. The thread went from an annoucement about a national radio show broadcast from SSR which is on topic for a DVC planning forum, to an all out heated debate about the right or wrong of this person's personal view on politics, which to me is totally "off topic" for a DVC planning forum.

In fact I wish if anyone wishes to discuss the pros or cons of this person's political view they would carry it to the Community Board.

Actually I too like Mr. Danza, I was just trying a little redirection to 'cool off' this thread!
