Seafood Market on Hilton Head?

My last question about Hilton Head...I think.

Does anyone know of a good place to buy fresh seafood to cook at the resort? We're planning to do a seafood boil. In the past we haven't had the best luck with seafood from the supermarket... its always best from a local market!

Barnacle Bill's is an outdoor seafood market not too far from the resort. It's on your right before you get there, if you're coming in on Business 278. (On the left past the resort if you take the Cross Island Bridge. )

You can also go to Hudson's Seafood (near Hudson's Restaurant on Squire Pope Road.)

We have also gone to the South Beach Marina (in Sea Pines, near the Salty Dog) as the boats have come in in the afternoon and purchased them right there.

I know you said you don't want to get your seafood at the supermarket, but
Publix often has shrimp fresh off the boats, which we have had very good luck with.

Enjoy Hilton Head! Wish we had another trip while it's still beach weather, but our next one is not till Thanksgiving.
