Besides the animals, is there anything for a 3 year old. It seems like all of the rides are for big kids/adults.

They have a play area with kiddie rides called Shamu's Happy Harbour. My grandkids loved it and you can go on the rides with little kids.

My son's third birthday was three weeks before our last visit to Sea World in May. He loved the animal interactions at the stingray touch pool, Dolphin cove feeding and pacific point preserve feeding the sea lions. He sat through the dolphin and killer whale shows but got bored with them after about 10 minutes.

He loved the happy harbour. In addition to the water play area, this is a big sandbox and jungle gym and a large climbing structure with next and slides for bigger kids (my son was not tall enough for that section - I think it and some of the rides had a 40 or 42 inch height requirement and he was only 38 and 1/2 inches tall.

Sea World is perfect for a 3 year old! The shows are short enough to hold his excitement, but with enough action to keep it moving!

Feed the sea lions, dolphins, or rays! The interactive nature is very fun!

The must see shows are the Cat & Dog, the Dolphin one, and of course Shamu!

There are only a couple of rides at Sea World, but you won't be bored! Take your time to stroll and enjoy the animals!
