Is there much difference in attendance levels on a saturday/sunday as opposed to a weekend?

What about Busch Gardens?

I'll be out there last 2 weeks in September if that helps at all.

Thanks!!

I would be interested in information as well. We are coming down Oct. 24, bringing our 2 daughters ages 7 and 8. My wife had our honeymoon there in 1997 and are treating our girls to their first plane, Disney, Discovery Cove, and Sea World vacation. They are already making plans on what to see at each place. Thanks!

Sea World tends to pull more locals than WDW, so it's busier on the weekends--it's more noticable during slower times of the year, like September.

:thumbsup2 True weekends @ SW and Busch Gardens do get busier with the locals. Weekdays are'nt too bad people vaca, school functions. You shouldn't worry to much about crowds in late Sept.

So would you guys recommend hitting up a disney park on a weekend rather than SW or Busch?

how about one of the Universal parks?

yeah. try universal studios or hollywood studios (maybe even epcot)

as said before, seaworld is much quieter on the weekdays

I would definitely say a Disney park--Universal also tends to have a more local crowd (remember, SW and Uni APs are a fraction of what a WDW AP costs). The site that must not be named explains this more, but Saturdays are generally not as bad at Disney as people seem to think--it's usually a travel day for out-of-staters, which is 70% or more of the crowd.

That said, in September/October, I would avoid Epcot on the weekends, because of the Food and Wine Festival--that is a big draw for locals. (Rest of the year, Epcot would be a very good call.) I'd stick to one of the other three.
