We've made reservations for the Residence Inn at Sea World. I've read where it's in walking distance to Sea World, but I was wondering if it's possible to see Sea World from your room/balcony? Wondering if we might could see the Fireworks from there or catch any glimpse of the animals. We'll be going to Sea World atleast twice while we're there, I'm just a dolphin/killer whale fanatic that would love the view if there is one.

I think its too far to walk, its more than 1/2 to the parking lot then across that is the park entrance. I would say its 3/4 to the gate. oh yea you can see anything too many pines. I use to live down the road

Hi There,
We stayed over New Years in O5' and we were able to see the fireworks at
Midnight from our room, ( kids were tired and couldnt wait for 12) We asked the Hotel
for a room view of Sea World about 2 months out. The Residence Inn was
a fun place for the kids, and also for us. We really loved it.
As far as walking , I would not, a bit to far for kids and even adults after a full
day at the park.
Have fun

Hi there, we stayed here for 3 weeks back in 05. its a great hotel, but its not really that close to walk to seaworld, we never did! Neither can youn see any wildlife there from the hotel rooms. Depending on which room you are in you do get a view of the fireworks, but they are all fairly 'low' fireworks, not like the ones at MK or Epcot that you can see for miles.

HTH, and have a fab time:)
