Sea World in August - 1 Day

I am planning a 13 night WDW trip during the 2nd and 3rd weeks of August. One day will be used for a off-site trip to Sea World.

Is the one day of the week typically less busy than another? I suspect Saturdays and Sundays would the worst, but any difference between the weekdays?

I would say Tuesday through Thursday would be the least crowded but there really isn't much difference during the week.

We did comfortably did SeaWorld in 1 day last August. We went there Aug 17 which was a Tuesday and while there was a crowd it was not difficult to move around or get to the shows. You just had to get to the shows early in order to get good seats.


(Note the lower left and right splash zones of the Shamu stadium are the best places to be.....if you wanna get thoroughly soaked )

We will be in Tampa in October and want to go over to SW for 1 day. I'm looking at Sunday the 9th since they are open 2 hrs. later on the w/e. How crowded might it be? We also figured this would be a better option for getting the dining deal as well. We will have a platinum pass so can get preferred seating at the shows so should it matter which day?
