Sea World Christmas and Rain

Hi All! Fair warning, I'm about to start peppering this board with questions about my 2 1/2 weeks away first trip to Discovery Cove and Sea World Orlando.

First, the weather. I know that central Florida weather is notorious fickle and I should pay no attention to current forecasts. But our arrival day currently is all rain all the time and I'm a crazy planner who likes contingency plans for my contingency plans.

We are planning to head straight to Sea World on arrival for the Christmas events. If it is raining, will the shows go on?

Thank you!

O Wondrous Night and the Elmo show are indoors, so they won't be affected by rain

Miracles should be able to go on in rain, but obviously not in lightning

For Clyde and Seamore- this is my first time seeing the show (it wasn't done the last 2 years). But my guess is they could probably go on in rain. I can let you know for certain after next weekend though

If I had to guess, I would guess the ice skating show would be canceled in rain

Last year it rained on the day we went but let up enough to still have the ice skating show. It started late as they had to clean off the rink and make sure it was safe. Not sure if they shortened the show. One of the skaters did not make a landing so who knows if they will be even more cautious this year.

Thank you! That gives me hope that we will get to see at least some stuff if Mother Nature turns against me.
