Sea World as an excursion

Has anyone done an excursion to Sea world while on a cruise. We will be docking in Port Carneval on the week before thanksgiving. Is it worth it to do an excursion to the Sea world. How much time do you really need at Sea world as we will need to get back to the ship. Should be take the excursion as offered by the cruise or do it on our own. Any advices will help.

The week of thanksgiving is very slow so you could fit in alot during the day. If you on a real time crunch you could do the must see things.... Dolphin show, feeding the dolphins, shamu show and clyde and seamore show. However, port Canaveral is an hour plus travel time to Seaworld. At what time does the ship arrive and what time does it leave again?
