Sea World annual pass guest ticket timing

We just purchased these BOGO annual pass. Are you able to purchase discounted guest tickets before arriving at the park or do you have to activate your annual pass in the park first? I wasn't able to login to the annual passholder section with anything they've sent me. Thanks!

I would say you have to activate your passes before you're able to purchase discounted tickets.
