Heading to Universal/Sea World Parks next week and would like some advice. Keep in mind that I can change my dates from the 17-21 for all the Sea World Park stuff, but need to do Universal for three days.

We arrive on the 16th at night and plan to relax and have a nice dinner in Citywalk
17th Our first Day at Universal
18th a Day at Discovery Cove... btw how would I get to the Sea World area from the Royal Pacific?
19th a day at Sea World and Aquatica.
Is this idea even possible? I was thinking about being at Sea World at 9am, get the Express Pass thing. At 1pm leave Sea World and head to Aquatica for the rest of the 4 hours. Is this even possible? The only show I have interest in is Shamu's (unless I have other recommendations), but going mostly for the ride attractions. Maybe I should add Aquatica to the Discovery Cove day, but DC seems like a place I would want to relax all day at.
20th Universal plus Halloween Horror Nights
21st Universal
22nd Heading to WDW

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Brian

Do not combine the DC and AQ days. Just don't. You will want to spend all day at DC, and would kick yourself for trying to plan on leaving halfway through the day.

Could you combine SW and AQ on one day? You could, especially if you only wanted to see a few things at each park. But I think it would be better to plan on a full day at SW, and then if you do get done early go to AQ. But don't make plans specifically to leave at a certain time, or the day will feel rushed and you might skip shows and other sites that you would enjoy. At the very least I would recommend Blue Horizons.

While AQ probably won't be real busy then, you might find you would like more than a few hours there also.

Agree, agree, and agree :thumbsup2 .

OP, if you are not planning on spending the entire day at SW, don't waste the money on Quick Queue passes. You won't get the value out of them. If you do decide to only do a partial SW day, just plan to arrive early and hit the rides first thing to avoid lengthy lines.

SW, in my opinion, is a full-day park and then some. And the shows are well worth a watch (you might be surprised how much you enjoy them....they aren't your average theme park shows). We spent two days there in August (and we've been there multiple times before) and we still could have gone back for a third day.

Aquatica is also a full day park (and our favourite water park in Orlando). Well worth a day if your family enjoys water activities.

I would pick between the two parks and devote the full day to whichever one you think your family would enjoy most.

And yes, definitely make DC its own day ::yes:: . Plan to arrive by 7:30 am and stay until the park closes at 5:30 pm. Even then, you won't want to leave. Be ready to be super tired, too. We always make the evening of our DC day a resort night because after all that water and sun, all we have energy for is to order in pizza and maybe a swim in the pool.

Ok the DC day will be a DC only day.
Sea World will be the primary focus and if we have extra time we will check out Aquatica.

Any recommendations of getting from Royal Pacific to Discovery Cove and Sea World in a timely manner. I hear taking a taxi is the best option.

Any Taxi service I should go with?

Sea World is a full day park and Aquatica is at the bare minimum 5-6 hours, combining both in one day is only doable if you understand you'll be missing out on a good amount of attractions.

We did Aquatica and SW together a couple of days last trip, worked perfectly with summer hours .... Saved on parking fees too which was a bonus!

The OP is going to both parks next week, though. SW is only open until 6 pm nightly, and AQ is only open until 5 pm. Summer is definitely a whole different ball game.
