If you order direct from Seaworld on-line adults tickets are priced the same as a child price

As others have said direct with Seaworld, they are $65(+tax) you will get a free day also, claim when you get in the park, wait until you leave and it will be busier.
Also consider a 2 park ticket, they only cost an extra $25 but allows you 14 days unlimited access to SW plus another park, either Aquatica or my preference Busch Gardens.

I know the 2 day tickets are better value but were not planning on going to Busch Gardens or Aquatica - so the free day at Sea World is better value fro us

No, they are available for anyone to buy, we bought one last year for a friend who went with us.

An adult day ticket bought online would be $64.95 +6.5% tax total $69.17
