Back in 2002 DH and I rented a pontoon and sailed around Bay Lake - it was a fun relaxing time.

We are going back this September with my BIL, SIL and DNephew plus my mom and his mom. BIL wants to have a fun time on the lake - the pontoon would be fun but he like to go fast.

Both DH and BIL are large guys (6'3" 330+lbs) Obviously they are in their own sea rayer but how fast will they be able to go?

They are also thinking of taking a personal watercraft tour from the Sammy Duvall place at the Contemporary.

Any info?

Sea Raycers may not be a very good choice for those individuals.

TIPS & FUN FACTS
Guests must be at least 12 years old and at least 5 feet tall to drive a Sea Raycer. At Magic Kingdom® area resorts, at least one person in the boat must have a valid driver's license. There is a maximum combined weight of 320 lbs permitted for a Sea Raycer, or 2 passengers. All drivers under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign a release.

The bigger you are, the slower the Sea Raycer goes. By the time you get close to the weight limit, you won't be getting much in the way of speed "thrills".

It's still nice controlling your own watercraft and being so close to the water, but it's a very leisurely tour when it's full loaded down.
