Where's the best place to rent from? I've rented a pontoon boat from the GF before and it was fun, but never tried the little boats. My DGD is 12 and I thought it would be something fun for us to do. I know you have to be 12 to drive it by yourself. Thanks!

Any of the MK area resorts.

All of the SeaRaycers rented there have a pre-set maximum speed higher than those rented elsewhere at WDW.

Also, you have a much broader area to cover (both Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon) and the multiple beautiful resorts, Discovery Island, and MK to see from your boat.

It's interesting to pilot over the "water bridge" next to the Contemporary.

Thanks Robo! I always love your maps. We'll probably rent from the Poly. I want to check out the new lobby. I feel sad that the original lobby
is gone. I remember when they had live parrots in the plants with the waterfall.

Agree with everything stated above. We have rented them at the Yacht Club and the trip over to DHS is so sloggingly slow it was painful. Much prefer Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon.

We like to rent from WL because it doesn't seem to be as crowded. We also prefer to stay in Bay Lake where there isn't as much boat traffic.

I have rented from every one of these resort marinas and each worked just fine.

I very fondly remember the original Poly lobby, too. (sigh)
I also remember actually checking into the Poly at a desk they had OUTSIDE the resort,
right under the Poly monorail station. Stepped out of the Mears airport coach and
they took your info right at the curb!

I totally agree with renting from MK resorts. For us it was easiest from WL. Also, Robo where do you get your abfab maps from? They are so helpful!

The info comes right from my Disney-lovin' head and Photoshop app.
