How Old Do You Need To Be To Be In It Alone?

Guests must be at least 12 years old and at least 5 feet tall to drive a Sea Raycer. At Magic Kingdom® area resorts, at least one person in the boat must have a valid driver's license. There is a maximum combined weight of 320 lbs permitted for a Sea Raycer, or 2 passengers. All drivers under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign a release.

Do You Get Wet When Driving?

Not if you are operating it properly.

The rates for the SeaRaycers are about $30 per half hour.

How fast they go depends on how much weight you have in the boat. They will get up on a plane but they are not speed boats.

And one more question Is one place better to rent from than another? Better views or more fun area? We're staying at CBR, but would it be more fun to travel to GF and rent from there? OR is that a waste of time?

The boats are not all equal. The one I rented from CR was a lot faster than the one at OKW. Don't know if the motor or prop are different from boat to boat. If you like fast, Bay Lake amd Seven Seas Lagoon are very nice open water areas with little no wake zones. They connect, so you can access either from the FTW, CR, GF, or the Poly.

For the first time on Walt Disney World property, Personal Watercrafts are available to ride. We offer two types of excursions from the Contemporary Resort. First, a morning Guided Tour provides scenic photo opportunities and a natural Florida view of Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. Our second excursion is a Free Ride that allows you to cool off and cut loose in our private watercraft area.



Requirements:
All of our Personal Watercrafts are capable of holding up to 3 people with a combined weight under 400 lbs.
Drivers must be over 16yrs of age and must bring either a state issued drivers license or permit and a photo I.D. with them at the time of check in. No exceptions will be granted.
A credit card is required to be held as a damage deposit.
Minors under the age of 18 must have an adult present to sign waivers prior to departing on your trip.



Guided Excursions:
1 hr - $125+tax per PWC
Free Ride Excursions:
1 hr - $125+tax per PWC
½ hr - $75+tax per PWC


Summer season: trips available at 8am and 9am.

All year trips are available from 9am.

Winter season: trips available at 10am-4pm.
