Sea Raycers.....need to pre-book?

We are looking to hire the Sea Raycers when staying at the Yacht Club, do you need to pre-book these? I don't know how popular these are? Is there generally a wait? What's the best time of day to hire them?

You can't pre-book them, but there typically isn't a wait. We visit in summer and usually rent Sea Raycers at 11am when the marina opens and before the afternoon thunderstorms arrive.

There's no need to 'prebook' a sea raycer...

The Yacht Club Marina hours are 11a -5p... and I would put 'peak' renting hours between 2p and 4p. It's unlikely you'll encounter a wait... especially with rentals on Crescent Lake.

We rent Sea Raycers every trip from the Grand Floridian (whether or not we're staying there) and greatly enjoy 'touring' the Lagoon and Bay Lake.

If you have the opportunity to get to Seven Seas Lagoon....Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness...the sight seeing there is generally considered better on the Seven Seas and Bay Lake as compared to Crescent Lake and Studios canal at the Epcot resorts, mush nore to see. Though from the Yacht Club is nice also.
