What are the current driver and passenger requirements for the Sea Raycers available at some of the resorts? Thanks.:D

Guests must be at least 12 years old and at least 5 feet tall to drive a Sea Raycer. At Magic Kingdom® area resorts, at least one person in the boat must have a valid driver's license. There is a maximum combined weight of 320 lbs permitted for a Sea Raycer, or 2 passengers. All drivers under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or legal guardian sign a release.

Drivers of canopy or pontoon boats must be 18 years of age. Drivers must provide ID with birth date in order to drive certain watercraft.

Hope this is the information you needed.

You have to be 16 and have a driver's license. We were at the Poly in August and in the past my kids have always rented the water mice, but this time my son, who turned 16 the day we left (I know I know bad timing, but what can you do!) could not go out alone. He went with my daughter, but they both said it wasn't the same. He could not drive it, he had to be a passenger. They only rented them one time and usually they rent them 4 or 5 times. I think this new policy is a good one. There has been far too many accidents.

Thanks for the replies. Are there any age restrictions for passengers?:D
