Sea monkey food

My kids have raised a group of sea monkies for the last month or so, and they're large and healthy (a first in our house, possibly a first ever). But in a week or two we're going to face a problem: The food that came in the package is going to run out.

What can we feed the sea monkies when this happens? We bought the sea monkies at Toys-R-Us, and they do not offer extra food.

My food outlived the seamonkeys and they lived over a year.. Go on ebay and see if you can buy just the food. If the tank was greenish I didn't feed them.

Those darn things reproduce like crazy! We had our last set for at least a year before we forgot to feed them for about a month or so.

I think they might go on and on for years if we feed them regularly. We are on month three of our new set and we still have a bunch of food left! We feed ours one of the small scoops (that comes with the kit) about once a week.

Oh my gosh! This thread brought back memories. I haven't thought about sea monkeys in years. We had those, chia pets and hermit crabs...I don't miss any of them!

!!!!!!! Though, I probably wouldn't have known better either. That's why I don't do fish. I have awful luck with them! But I did purchase my younger brother (18) sea monkies for his birthday this year. It was a big hit.
