Sea Lion Encounter in Nassau

So we're signed up for the sea lion encounter in Nassau for our cruise in October, and since I'm an over planner, I have some questions..

For those who have done it, how was it? Worth the cost? What are the prices for photos like?

The more "logistical" part of it... the fiance really wants to go to the casino in Atlantis. Like, he would rather do that than the sea lion encounter if he had his way. When we take the ferry back from Blue Lagoon, does it stop at Paradise Island on the way back to the ship? Or do we have to go all the way back to the ship, and figure out a way to Atlantis on our own?

My children and I did it 3 years ago and loved it. We didn't buy the photos right after and didn't have enough time after lunch to buy them. The beach was nice. The boat takes you to and from the port, no stop at Atlantis.
