Sea Life, Orlando Eye, Wax museum

Opinions on Sealife in particular for an 11 year old boy? We for sure want to do Orlando Eye and the wax museum looks pretty neat. Thought we'd do Sealife as well but am now reading reports that it's more for younger kids and very small, crowded. We have done Boston Aquarium and will visit The Seas in Epcot. It would be about $28 for my family to visit Sealife if we add it on to a combo ticket with the Eye, Madaam Tussads Wax Museum. Thanks for any insight / experiences.

If been through it several times. I would think an 11 yr old boy would enjoy the sea life part.

In that area is a museum Skeletons. Name says it all, so many types of animal and human skeletons. It is actually very fun and our 11 yo son and 13 yo daughter enjoyed it very much. There is a Treasure Hunt activity sheet that really became informative. I bought a lot of groupons in November for the Orlando Eye area.

We did all three plus Skeletons and we are all adults. We enjoyed Sea Life, beautiful tanks and creatures. Walking a tube with sharks around you. If there is no combo ticket for Skeletons check Groupon. Was pleasantly surprised how cool it was.

I am a non-fan of the whole Merlin complex. The Orlando Eye disappointed me. WDW is far away, and the nearer parks are just unimpressive from the air. With theme parks, it's the facade that matters. The tops of buildings, which is what you see on Orlando Eye are "meh." I so wanted the experience to be better. I agree with what you've heard that Sea-Life is for younger kids. It's better than The Seas in Epcot, but it's small and nothing compared to a good city aquarium. There's some hands-on activities, but your child is probably too old to really enjoy. If I were paying to go there, I'd take my money elsewhere.

Another vote for Skeletons. You can find a groupon for it too. It was a really interesting museum.
