Sea Life Aquarium

I am thinking about not doing WDW or UOR when I'm in Orlando during Easter weekend mostly because of the crowds. Thinking about seeing I-Drive 360, which has the Eye and several other attractions. The attraction I'm most unsure about is Sea Life Aquarium. I have been to Aquariums in Baltimore and Boston, so I know what an Aquarium is. Is there anything different than Aquariums in any major city there? Is it even comparable as an experience to Sea World? Not sure I want to do Sea World either because they have Orcas and have heard nothing except that it's boring.

Well ... I have the Georgia Aquarium and we loved Sea Life. It's small but vibrant and impressive for it's size. There is a totally clear tunnel you walk through surrounded with fish including shark. It has many things that you would get in a big aquarium just smaller. I think it puts Disney Living Seas to shame, honestly enjoyed more than Sea World's aquarium or shark area. But it will be smaller than large aquariums.

We did it as part of a bundle ticket to wax museum and the Eye.

I was disappointed in whole Merlin complex. We went because it was included with our Legoland passes. There's not much to see from the Eye. WDW is pretty far away (you can see the castle and Spaceship Earth but they are unimpressive from that distance), and most other theme park attractions are low to the ground and indistinct from the air.

As for the aquarium, it is small. It took us about an hour, and I think that's generous. There's some pretty cool features like these bulb-like structures built into some aquaria so you can crawl under and see the fish from inside the bulbs. They made for some good pictures. It's definitely better than Living Seas, but it's not worth a visit in my book. You've visited far better.
