Sea Breeze Pointe Wedding Pics?

Think you may have given me the wrong link-? This was to a Skymall product.

I clicked on your wedding journal thinking that was the link you were referring to-I peeked through some pages-did you have your ceremony at SB pointe? If so which pages show the photos of the ceremony site?

BTW, I LOVE your dress!!

sorry, i forgot to copy the link to the board when i found it :headache:

my wedding is in january, and it will be at sbp! don't worry, i'll post pics asap!

These are all so beautiful-you've sold me on the SBP!!

I LOVE the pink rose petals strewn all over that I saw in several pictures!!

Is this provided by Disney or do you supply these from an outside florist?

From what I understand, Disney Florist could provide you with just about anything for a price. I heard other Disney Brides getting better prices on flower petals from outside florists like Whimsical Wey, etc, I'm actually looking into this option myself. :goodvibes Saving money is a good thing! :wizard:

Can anyone tell me if they felt that this location was too open to the public? on mouseweddings.com they said that it's just off a pathway so there's a good chance that people can just stop and see the wedding. I was wondering if that really is the case. or if its not a big deal and shouldnt worry too much about it. thanks for your input.

Well, I can't offer any personal insight.. yet! But, this was something I did do a little research on.

Initially, we both liked the Wedding Gazebo at the Yacht Club, but one of the deterrents for me was all the hotel room balconies facing the gazebo. Mind you, I don't mind it if people watch but for some reason that kind of bothered me a little. So, it made me look into other options without ruling that out.

The Boardwalk seemed like a perfect compromise. The backdrop seems so lovely (I love the fact that it's on the water) and it's slightly more secluded than the Wedding Gazebo. I heard that Disney is good about making sure any passer-byers keep their distance but I don't mind if they watch at all. I'm sure if I was walking by I would love to watch but I would surely keep my distance. I think most people would be respectful and understand how important it is. :goodvibes

Hopefully other brides can give you some insight.:goodvibes

Yeah we totally were looking at the Gazebo too. but the Sea breeze pointe seems like there would be a little more privacy.

I've seen some photos where guests were walking by, but they didn't seem intrusive. My SIL is getting married at SBP in May.

We were torn between the two locations as well. We went with the gazebo because I just like the setting a little better, though it was a tough choice. I think my DH said a couple people were watching from a balcony, but quite frankly, once you are inside the gazebo, which is where your entire ceremony takes place, you can't see up and they can't see in. I was too excited and focused on the moment to notice anyone outside of the gazebo, so I didn't mind. Another plus for me and a major deciding factor was that we had an August wedding and the gazebo had a ceiling fan for air movement ! It was wonderful !

hmm.. I didnt realize the gazebo had a fan, that might be something we might want to consider because were planning to have our wedding Sept 10. and I heard that it was pretty hot that time a year too.

I just happened to notice the fan in one I saw posted somewhere, possibly on Mouseweddings.com, but the fan certainly did help. Ultimately, though, choose the location that is in yhour heart.
