SDMT Soft Opening Lookout Post

I would be very surprised if there weren't soft openings happening by the time we are there from the 16th to the 20th. Then again, wasn't the original projected opening for this ride late 2013?

I'll be there for a while on the 12th and 15th, around a business trip. Hope to ride it then, but no big deal if I don't. I'll be back a few more times this summer and for 2 weeks in September. I'll ride it eventually.

This is our last trip for a while so I'm keeping everything I can crossed in the hopes that there will be soft openings whilst we are there. A little optimism never hurt anyone right?

I booked my FP+ reservation on the Disney web site today. I couldn't with the app. Today was the first time I saw it in the list. I was checking almost every day

This is great, I'll be there from May 13 to the 17th and was bummed that the opening wasn't sooner. Hoping for a soft opening.

I was really disappointed at first about the May 28 date since we leave May 26 and I can't extend our trip. But with 50,000 FPs, I think we all have a better chance of riding a soft opening. And now I have an excuse for another WDW trip!!! I'm looking forward to Star Wars weekend and so much fun with my family!

Finally posting instead of just reading the boards obsessively. We'll be in the MK on 5/11 for Mother's Day and 5/16. Hoping for a soft open one day, or hopefully both!
