SDMT during the day or at night????

Hi everyone! It's almost time to book my fast pass rides for our September trip! We are excited to ride the SDMT, but was wondering about the ride during the day vs. at night? Is one time of day better than another? My 4 year old son will be riding too!

I haven't ridden it yet, but I hear it's pretty cool at night.

The only thing is that if you make your SDMT FP+ for the evening, you won't be able to reserve your 4th FP until you use your first three.

Maybe since you have a 4 yr old with you daytime would be best.

Hard decision. I want to ride in the daytime and after dark. I would probably get the daytime FP and ride again right before the park closes.

I prefer to ride in the evening. During the day there is so much glare/light from the sun that you cannot see everything in the house at the end. When it is cloudy or a little darker, you can see much more.

I liked it much better after dark. It makes the ride seem faster.
