Maybe we can shut down the whole park!Forget locking MDE, it shuts the ride down! JK

Everything with SDFP and NBFP seems to be working this morni
I can verify ALL versions of SDFP and NBFP are still working as usual at AK today.
Mine came back.
From a programmer point of view, it looks like they are running a SQL procedure on each account as it logs in. It takes some time to run and you get wonky results until it finishes the updates, and by updates I mean implementing the new rules to end the party.
So login to your account. Go get a cuppa joe, and try again. It should be all good.
If that were the case wouldn't we then just reassign the ticket in the morning so that when you arrive at the park it is no longer ticketed?Did you make it to the second tap before they shut the line? And the first one went green! That's beyond huge.
Is it going to turn out that traditional SDFP (on bands with no entitlements) still work - but that extra FP on ticketed bands no longer work?
Now what we need is someone to test a band with a prebooked FP (not a kiosk booked FP) that did not use that band to enter the park. Maybe the presence of a ticket not used for park entry is what triggers the alert. But no ticket at all triggers no alert??
The ones that are connected by friends, ill try to transfer. The 4 that are not friends and on a phantom MDE, from what ive read, i cant. I will check here before attempting to use them. If it gwts locked, i will call to get it unlocked and change the profiles enough to attempt to get them linked as friends. If i have to go through the next month with my own FP's and 2 linked with tickets attached, l will survive. It would be nice to use the 3 MB's of family members with no tickets attached, so we will see what happens. Are you going to transfer some to your profile and your sons?
Speechless.
Unless this just means there's been a delay.
Or they are just "keeping score" and building a case so that when the guest comes to GS (after how ever many attempts have been documented) with a locked MDE there will be no doubt what they were doing. This would also prevent locking an unsuspecting guest's MDE who just somehow made a mistake.

That's what I'm wondering until we get like... a good couple weeks (months) worth of trial and error data.
It's all well and good if things still work today, but for all we know they haven't even rolled over to the new system yet. Maybe they just put it off for a while. Maybe they're doing it this afternoon. Who knows. I'll be much more confident on my next trip if everything still works as normal 3 months from now, haha.
I dunno. Atm I have 3 ticketed accounts (Me + 2 Family Members) and more unticketed accounts than I typically know what to do with in a day. Usually just have a ziplock full of magicbands in my pocket and juggle them as-needed. Sounds like planning a day for several people might be trouble in the future, but I also take a lot of solo trips, and hopefully those should still be relatively easy to manage.
Hopefully something works out, long term.
That would be very interesting. Who wants to do it on their own MDE OR transfer a valid ticket to a Phantom account and attempt to use it without entering the park and risk locking a phantom MDE with a valid ticket entitlement? This would be a great test if there were any parties going on. Too bad it is June.Did you make it to the second tap before they shut the line? And the first one went green! That's beyond huge.

I like the way you think. Why use the ticketed band when you can just reassign the entitlement and use as we have in the past. I guess it just wouldn't work for APs.
Ahh I must have missed that one. Thank you!Won't be necessary since @DatFan confirms that FP on profiles with and without tickets are all working.
So as of this morning, nothing has changed. But with the glitchy MDEs we're experiencing (and multiple CM corroboration), we think something may be about to change soon!
We will all appreciate the continued reports from the field!
It is Disney IT, after all.Speechless.

SDFP wouldn't exist in the first place if the IT folks in charge of MDE and FP+ were that creative and competent!!!Seems like there is a slight delay of the update. Don't get too excited guys, it's definitely coming. Maybe they even delayed it on purpose to catch more people... Guests and CM's alike.
