SDD But Trip Is On Edge!

Well its my sdd today

but while I am very excited about it, theres a problem

I spent all last night in casualty, turns out a pain I had on my body where I couldnt see, is some some sort of growth/cyst/tumor something, and I have to have an OPERATION! before I go to florida, if not I cant go. As it has to come out and be tested. Im in quiet a bit of pain, and cant walk properly, cant believe this so close to my trip, lets hope the lovely nhs can get me in on thursday or friday for day surgery.

But I can still dance (wellwhen I am sitting lol)

Am very sorry to hear this Anna

Do the doctors and surgeon know about your upcoming trip? It is very inadvisabe to fly within 10/14 days of surgery (i.e. anything on your chest/abdomen or anything else that makes an incision/opening)

Look after yourself - your health is a lot more important than your holiday (although hard to believe that sometimes )

But following on from Boo Boo Too do let your insurance company know about the op as it may affect your policy and if something were to happen while away they may not pay out if they weren't informed.
