SDD at Rope Drop when DHS was EMH

My niece and her children are leaving Saturday for WDW. I am helping her with their plans. They are planning to go to DHS on Sunday, February 17th. Extra Magic Hours are from 8 am-9 am that morning. What time do they need to arrive at DHS to rope drop SDD? They were not able to get a FP for it at 60 days.

We rope dropped SDD during EMH about 10 days ago. We got to HS around 7am and were very close to the front of the line while we were being held on Hollywood Blvd. I would warn them that it is a mad house rope dropping SDD. We walk VERY quickly, but we don't run and we don't push, and by the time we got to SDD, hundreds of people had pushed in front of us and we ended up waiting close to 15 minutes in line. Still a short wait, but kind of frustrating since we started at the very front of the line.
