Scuba at Typhoon Lagoon?

I was poking through my Passporter and there's a mention of being able to Scuba at Shark Reef in TL. Other than that, I've only seen references for snorkeling at TL. Can you actually scuba at TL?

TL is closed during my upcoming trip, which is a bummer. I wanted to do a few things that TL has which BB doesn't.

Do they alternate which water park they close every year or is it just these last two years where they've closed BB and then TL?
