Scrubs: Med School

Anyone else watch last night?

What did you think?

I thought it was done pretty well, but it definitely didn't feel like "Scrubs". I kinda felt like I was cheating on Scrubs xD

I am in love with Dave Franco (Cole), James Franco's younger brother .
(You may know him as Davey xD from James' Funny or Die vids on acting )

My favorite conversation:
"Can't. Got a ressie with my moms"
"Ressie? Really? Are you also gonna 'get your drunk on' and 'eat some 'za'?"
"Nah, I wish, but my mom is lactose intolie. She's the best, though, she helps me pick up girls. She's my wing mom"
"That's horrifying"

I think it'll at least last the season, but I'm not sure how much more mileage it has... it just feels odd to watch

I DVR'd it. I'm confused though. I thought last season was the last, or at least this season wouldn't have any of the old characters. I guess I'll have to watch it.

They changed their minds a bit, I think. For Scrubs: Interns there was barely any of the original cast.

JD, Turk, Dr. Cox, Kelso, and Denise seem to have reoccuring spots. Elliot was there for a cameo in the very beginning.

JD, Turk, Dr. Cox, and Kelso are all teachers at the med school (also a weird thing- new hospital, new set). Denise is a TA.

Then there's pretty much a handful of new students and the three they focus on are Drew, Lucy, and Cole. Cole is definitely my favorite xD

I'll probably only watch it if J.D., Turk, Dr. Cox, Kelso (old characters) are in it a lot. Really, I could barely watch last season because they had all these weird new characters.

I love the show, but it has really fizzled out lately. They should just let it go, IMO.

Also, didn't J.D. decide to move near his son or something last season? Why is he teaching medical school? (I should probably shut up until I watch the episode.)

I just checked the list for next week, and it looks like Kelso isn't a character who frequently reoccurs.

I'm happy it's back but it was kind of a "zombie" version of Scrubs. It was the same, but different It's got the characters, but it still feels less like Scrubs than Scrubs:Interns did.

I actually really like the new med students.

Actually, I just really like Cole. Lucy's okay, she's the girl version of J.D., Dr. Cox picks on her, she daydreams, etc.(she narrates a lot, too).

*completely unrelated-but-sort-of-related to thread girlish rant* JAMES FRANCO HAS A YOUNGER BROTHER?!? this is news to me. do they look alike? i hope so
also, i was going to watch it, but then decided not to. i prefer the old scrubs. i was (and still am) SUPER sad to see JD go in the finale. he was my absolute favorite, and he's leaving us for good in a few eps, apparently.

have you seen james in freaks and geeks? the druggie bad boy role was MADE for him. xD

Okay, I watched it. I actually don't like Cole at all. He irritates me, but the 'wing mom' line was pretty funny. Lucy is just a mix of J.D. and Elliot. Drew is probably my favorite.

There's no Carla. There's no Elliot. There's no Cox's wife (I forgot her name, but she's playing basically the same character on Cougar Town now). I hear the old characters that are left will be leaving soon anyway. The whole 'they tore down the old hospital and built a new one next to a med school?) thing is confusing.

I do not approve.
