Screened Tents

Hi!

I'm hoping I can get some recommendations on screen shelters from the RV'rs out there.

We're renting an 23' RV and have reserved a full hook up campsite at Ft. Wilderness. Campsites also have room for a tent from what I've read and I really, really want to have a screened in area so we can sit outside and not be eaten alive by mosquitos.

At Bass Pro I saw a Coleman InstaClip 13' x 11' Screenhouse Shelter and wonder what type of screen housing you experts recommend. I also saw an inexpensive NW Territory 10 X 10 at the Sears site. Unfortunately, I can't yet copy a URL else I would load the image for your reference.

If anyone has other suggestions for screened in shelters, I'm literally all ears!

We have the Quest brand 10x10 from Dick's. We purchased one solid wall (covers half) and two screened walls (surrounds entire). The frame/roof set was $60. We've used it for 5 camping trips and have been very happy.

I second the Eddie Bauer hex or the Ereeka's.

I Haven't camped at the Fort for some time, I think 2004, but I don't ever remember having a problem with mosquitos. I remember it to be pretty bug free. Have things changed?

The yellow flies certainly have. They were awful this year and I even was bitten in the 2000 loop a week ago visiting Polynesian Pixie. They have had a very bad outbreak of them. It just seems since they have cleared the loops, the bugs have fought back with a vengeance. I thanked God every day I had that screen up.

Thanks so much for all the input on the screen shelters! We're going to place an order this week. We'd been talking about getting one for a couple weeks now for other uses so the timing is great.
