Scratch Hoop Dee Doo? with infant...

Ok Here we go...

We have a reservation for Hoop Dee Doo at 5pm. Our 1 yr old and 10 yr old will be with us.

I've been thinking about cancelling this reservation ONLY because of the 1 yr old. I'm not sure she'll sit through a 2 hour show much less stay entertained as much as we would for 2 hours. Thoughts?

Anyone else go with infants? What was your take on it? If you took the infant did you think it was worth the 2 TS credits?

We were there last year with our 1yo (though he was only a few weeks away from being 2) and he really enjoyed the show. Is your 1yo just barely 1, or is he getting closer to 2?

in terms of being worth the 2 TS credits, we definitely thought it was. My party included my 5yo, my 1yo, my DH and myself. We all laughed the entire time.

I guess I'm thinking if your child is still on the baby end of 1, it might not be the best choice (though only you know that, depending on his personality). But if he's past 1 1/2, or nearly, 2, he'd probably like the show.

Where are you sitting? We went in Nov and were seated upstairs, along the sides, it was perfect for my DS2. He did get restless at times when the show stopped, because the seating upstairs is one row, I was able to stand up with him and walk around a bit. I could never have done that on the main floor.

I don't know if I would have taken him any younger. He's a "terrible two" and dining without the characters is challenging for us right now.

Amy is actually turning 1 the day we leave for WDW. She can sit pretty good and loves to eat and is easily entertained watching people. However for 2 hours???? We haven't pulled this one off yet...
