My oldest daughter turns 16 on Saturday, I wanted to make her something special so i decided to make her a Paper bag album. Thanks maria for getting me addicted to these..lol.. I used a journal box from Susiestone (color swap), ribbon (scavenger hunt swap) I just wanted to share and get some constructive criticism on how you all think it looks so far, I want it to be special and beautiful.



I blotted out her personal birth information as a safety thing.

There is a small ribbon flap that opens this page outward.

This is the other side also made with a ribbon flap to add more pages into the book.


That's all I've done so far, the cover and first page layout with flappers.

Sure I will! but you have to tell me when your birthday is..lol.. I am so addicted to making these books. I think I may need intervention..lol.. It takes me about 6 hours to complete one. But I am getting really good at putting them together. and my favorite part is getting the colors to look just right. I wish I had more carts for my "bug" it would make embellishing them so much funner and easier. I am not very creative.

The colors for Meg's book are maroon, red and pink which look so unbelievable together.

I love the colors...

I'm going to put one together for DH from his trip to San Antonio... and than I need to work on my kids' DC trips... but I have few photos to chose from because they are amateur photo takers... some are a bit blurred! I'm going to have them journal there own books... since I wasn't there..

Are we going to keep this up next month, too? This keeps me motivated! It's so inspiring to see everyone use the swap stuff. I can't wait to get more pics in September to use with my swap stuff!!

Wow! I'm speechless! I never win anything so I'm totally in shock.

To answer your question, SIOH, YES!!!, we are doing another round. This has been a great motivator and I love seeing everyone's pages.
