We never took our camera to the water parks.
Didn't get pictures of Soarin (even outside by the sign .. don't know if you could even take inside), Rockin' Roller Coaster, or Dinosaur and some other rides... Did anyone every scrap a page for something you never had a picture for? I wanted to somehoe include these things... I guess I could write it in a little journal and stick it on the main page for the parks.

Depends- I also dont take pics of everything but I do mention it all in my daily "trip report" I usually add somewhere to the book (whether it be daily or just at the end)

If the story *needs* a picture then Id just download one and go from there (cause ya know 99% of Rock n Roller Coaster pics look the same..)

But I dont see the need to have a picture of EVERY ride I went on- just the memoriable ones

You could journal and embellish the page with logos of the rides you discuss---there are great stickers out there. If you like pics on your pages (like me) then you could use a picture of yourself in Disney and journal reflecting on your favorite things about Disney. Remember documenting your memories is the most important you don't need pics of each event or thing. Sometimes one picture or non at all make the journaling really pop and mean that much more.

I don't take pictures of lots of things. Especially at Disney. (Don't know how that is possible since I usually come home with over 500 pictures!)
I usually do a page of memorbila. You know where you get the photo claim checks, tickets etc.....extra fast passes.

I agree with Disneyland_emily, if it's a generic picture that you really, really need, there's no shortage of pics on the internet. My problem is that I can't take pictures of fireworks to save my life, but luckily my brother can - so I borrow his from his photos.yahoo.com site...

I borrowed DISers' pictures and from the web when I lost about 100 photos on my DCL trip.

It rained when I was in EPcot with the folks. I only had 2 photos, but filled a 12x12 withjournaling and pieces of poncho.

I often cut ou brochures for ride pics.

This happend to me to. We went to the Spirit of Aloha last year at the Poly and non of the pics turned out. I haven't done anything with the page yet, (not because I don't know how to do it, but maily because I am lazy..lol)

Anyway, I would suggest journaling about the ride or event, and then embelishing the page with your fast pass if you have one, park tix, or downloading pictures from the internet. Or if you've done many other things that day, just include in the journaling the rides that you went on. I couldn't imagine scrapping a page for each individual ride I went on. I'd have a whole book of nothing but rides...lol, (and then another whole book for nothing but restaurants) :rotfl:

One thing that I use is ticket stubs and the park maps...you can get some great images from them. Another idea...go to a discout book shop and get an old Birmbaum's guide to Disney world ...there are usually some nice pcitures and images in there.

I had a similiar situation recently. DH and I celebrated our 25th anniversary and I was making him an album. I got to a page with our past cars and motorcycles and found I only had pic of a couple of them. So I made a border of one piece of white paper a inch and half wide. I then wrote in all different directions the different cars and bikes we had. I used black for all the names. Then in between I filled in with a few stickers of oil cans, spark plugs, wax cans....etc. Then I used two different color pens to place little dots in the empty spots. I then matted the left edge of this in the two color of the pens. Next to this border I mounted a journaling box with info about us and our cars with the couple pics I did have.

You could do this with your favorite rides written in the border along with some stickers like popcorn, soda pops, ice cream cones, then mount a journaling box with a story about them and then print off a couple shots from the web of entrances to one or two of them or add ticket, maps, etc.

I would do it if its important to you....thats all that really matters in our albums. :)
