Just got back from WDW and realized I now have pictures from this trip, and our trip in 2003. I really wanna start scrapbooking!! I have a few scrapbook items that I might be able to get by with, but i don't have the slightest clue where to start. I also don't really want to break the bank with buying tons of stuff in the beginning. Where does everyone get their supplies when starting out?? Any ideas?? I also forgot to mention I am not that creative :rotfl: . If someone gives me ideas I can usually do it, but starting from scratch terrifies me. :scared1: I thought of doing a scrapbook with the alphabet theme??

Looking fo all ideas, Thanks for the help. :flower:

She will be able to get you started. CM has great idea books, tools and albums.

Also, LSS (local scrapbook stores) have classes for beginners.

If you don't want to break the bank, you might want to think about getting from someone other than CM. They tend to be very expensive - and they don't have coupons/sales like Michaels/ACMoore/JoAnns. My local Michaels & ACMoore store also have classes - check with them if you can't find an LSS.

Someone recently asked for help with getting started & asked for our top 5 items needed to get started. You'll find some good help there I think.

Since you say you aren't creative, try going to TwoPeas for inspiration! This is a search of Disney stuff posted over there: http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg....ivate_layout=0+and+title+like+'%disney%'&pg=1

In the beginning I only bought things on sale or with a coupon at Michaels, etc. If money is really an issue, or if you are easily tempted to buy stuff you may not need avoid threads marked Enabler Alert at all costs! :rotfl2: I didn't do that & now have been sucked into the Scrapping-Vortex-of-Doom spending habit! :rotfl2:

If you can't find things you want to embellish your pages, you can always check the "Scrap Sites" thread that is stickied to the top of this forum. There are lots of great places to buy scrapping goodies listed there. ;)

Oh and BTW - Welcome and Howdy neighbor! :teeth: I'm over in Montgomery County - right along the Bucks border.

You can really scrapbook with nothing but scissors, glue, paper (colored cardstock) and pictures. Dont' feel like you need tons of stuff. Definately check out twopeas for ideas! I have a rule for myself. I don't buy ANYTHING unless it's on sale. I use the Michaels and JoAnns coupons for 40% off, all the time. They both always have great sales too.
