Scrapbooking Store

I have heard that there is a scrapbooking store in DTD. Can anyone tell me what it is like. I am an avid scrapbooker and use a lot of Creative Memories items. They have a small like of Disney items, but I know I will want and need more.

It is in DTD..in the old book store...down by the art of disney store. You can't miss it. Have fun.

I went to the store in DTD in March. Although it had some things, I wasn't that impressed with the merchandise. Surprisingly, I found more items that I actually purchased at the gift store at the Dolphin! Took me two months and two scrapbooks for our trip in March.

It is fun to check out though so judge for yourself. Have fun!

I can not wait to go. I know all the wonderful pictures will help us preserve this memory. I just want some accessories to make the WDW scrapbook special!

Make sure you check out the mickey head scissors if you don't have those. Also make sure you get the castle punch and mickey head eyelets if you like those cause they seem to be hard to keep in stock.

I noticed scrapbook items for sale in Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom gift shops as well.

I'm a CMC and I haven't been thrilled with what I've seen at the Downtown Disney store. (Didn't stop me from buying one of each!) www.mousememories.com sells just about every Disney scrapbooking product imaginable. They have VERY cute stuff.

The resorts and gift shops in the parks sell what is in the Scrapbooking store at DTD.

My friend just got back from Disney last week and she bought me some stuff at the DTD scrapbook store. She got me the Mickey head scissors and the Mickey eyelets. I liked those, but wasn't too impressed with the stickers or the patterened paper. I'm sure it's worth checking out though. Disney really needs to get on the scrapbook bandwagon....just imagine the cool things they could do! I'm stocking up on Disney Jolee's now to use after my trip in December! LOL!

Don't get too excited. I did last summer when I went and was sorely disappointed. It is very lacking in stuff, in comparison to what us scrapbookers usually encounter in stores.

BTW-They also sell all that same stuff in most gift shops, in the World of Disney, and other places... so if you don't get down there, you can find the same things in other places.

I bought the Mickey scissors and some WDW stickers and such... but for the most part, you can buy Disney themed stuff MUCH cheaper other places...
