Scrapbooking goodies?

Ive been looking on Ebay and pre-made pages and stuff and its all so cool. I really need a hobby

Just not sure how i will start, yet again i make things more complicated than what it seems lol.

Plus someone is charging $30 postage of 19 sheets of card and stickers..i thinking thats a bit steep.

I really wouldn't suggest ordering from USA because of the postage and also you can get charged customs fees on top aswell.

One of the UK websites I have ordered from before is http://www.capturethemagic.biz/acatalog/Sandylion_Disney_Papers.html
they do quite a few single pages of disney papers and they are not too expensive.

I would start by looking at your photo's and try to match some of the colours in the photo to the papers you use as you background. For example, if you have a picture of your DD with Minnie, then use black, white & red papers & lettering to match Minnie.

I use this american website for ideas if I run out of inspiration: http://www.scrapbook.com/gallery/ then if you click on search and type in Disney or Magic Kingdom etc it will bring up photos of other people's pages. It's great to look at to get new ideas. Hope this helps.

One thing I didn't mention is the scrapbooking thread on here......http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=957926 you can't view some of the photo's in the older posts but there are lots you can see and they will give you some more ideas.

I saw one on ebay last night which is a Disney set that comes with an album, papers and loads of stickers. Not sure when it ends but if you want i will see if i can find it again for you?

Im just looking now and i think if i was to buy one, it would have to be one that includes paper, stickers etc....Im just scared ill do a rubbish job

I don't know if you have tried the creative memories site. I think they are in many different countries so there should be a link for your country. Some products might not be available though out of the US. I have bought quite a few Disney scrapbooking items there. The link to the pages is great! I never have time to do my scrapbooking but when I do I am getting some ideas from there. Thanks!
