I'm wanting to make a scrapbook to donate to our schools auction but am not sure what kind to make?

Although I'd LOVE to make a Disney Album, I thought it would be more practical to do something more generic.

Any suggetions? I thought of a baby album for either girl or boy, but what about a generic 1-year album? Could put in the embelishments for each holiday and even some school functions? Should I make it girl or boy specific?

Do you think this sounds like a good idea? Thanks!

What about a school years album???? For k-6 grades or whatever your elementary school is. That type of album would work for anyone. I would make it gender neutral--maybe include a small $ gift card so purchaser could get gender specific stickers if they want.

A year album would be great......jan=winter, feb=valentines etc.

I have been in charge of a couple of auctions before (next being on Feb. 10th!) and any and all albums usually bring in a lot of $$$!!!! Whatever you do will be snatched right up!!

Another approach is the one I'm doing for our upcoming Youth Auction at church - I'm donating completion of a series of pages that I will put together using the buyer's photos but my materials and time. Since this is aimed primarily at the high school audience we've found there are always some moms that need a hand getting the books done in time for graduation open houses.

How about a ABC Album of Disney or for a young child. If they don't happen to have a picture to go with that page they can always take a picture later to put in the book.

You could even provide a blank album - or auction a "sample" and let the buyer decide.

What a great idea! Wish I had thought of that last year at our silent auction!
I would gear it towards school if possible a couple of pages for each grade in the school. A place for the school composits and school picture. Also I would make a pocket for each grade. To put report cards and other things like that!
Would love to see your finished project! I bet it goes for a lot of money!

Yes, let us know the results. We have a silent auction at the end of Feb. and I am wondering if I have the time, what with everything else going on, to put together an album.
