Ok I am really searching all options! I really like the stuff I saw on the web for scrap in a snap and have emailed back a forth with a consultant. A book is on it's way. She said she could offer me a deal, for $65 I could get $150 worth of stuff and 20% off all future orders as long as I place an order once a year. Any one else heard of this? I cna't wait for her reply to see what is included! I hope I like the stuff! The paper looks nice and colorful and I love the album covers and price is right. Plus it is 12 x12 and from all my searching seems to be a true 12x12 and it is top load which I like...

Hi Sondra, They do not have SIAS here in Canada so I don't know much about it but if you do purchase I would like to hear about the products!
I think that it is a consultant type of thing like creative memories--perhaps if you became a consultant you would get a even better discount!!

Well I just got an email from her and to get that deal it is to become a sales person! LOL! But she said I wouldn't have to sell anything just place my orders through my code. I plan to call her tonight and talk plus order a catalog. I really like what I saw on their web site.
So who knows.....
vanessa I will let you know what I think of it.

I think the big advantage of SIAS is that you don't need to order very much to remain active as a consultant, so you could manage with just your own orders and maybe a couple of friends ordering through you, whereas CM has very high minimums and require you to hold workshops every quarter (I believe)

I have ordered a SIAS album from a Consultant in Orlando and she is going to deliver it to me at my villa! How cool is that. I hope it is as nice as they look in the catalog - I have never seen one in real life.

Just want to clarify info on CM.....they have rolling quarterly minimums of $500 retail...$350 cost. CM does not require you to teach classes or hold workshops. That's the beauty of a home based business. You can do what works best for you and your family! :) My only suggestion when looking at a home based business is to read everything...especially the contract you have to sign and to "shop" around for an upline. Whoever signs you up to be a consultant will be your upline and you'll want to make sure you click with that person or it could be a difficult working relationship. Good luck on your decision!

Hi Lisa,
I know to read the fine print! This is funny, I just called to get info and a book to look at...just to compare never dreamed of selling or having some type of home business! But who knows I spoke with a local rep where as the person I have been emailing with was higher up.
She was very nicean and is going to send information and some paper samples and info about becoming a consultant. She said there is different levels right now, The hobby person who doesn't do shows. mainly purchases for themselvs or shows the book to friends. Makes no income and the person who reaches a quota and then gets a commission. She said the company is very new only about 11/2 old so that could change. Which leads me to believe it will.
So believe me I won't be jumping in with both feet! But one nice thing she has work shops in her home and does both beginner and people who have been scrapping. So that may be interesting to go to just to see. I figure the more I see the better idea of what I want to use.
