Scrap Booking is SO addicting!

I have been thinking about doing some scrapbooking for the last few months and decided for my parents (who have everything) that for Christmas I would make them a scrapbook mainly of my 3 kids and include some pictures of various family members also.. I finally decided to dive in tonight..I went thru pictures last week and took out the ones I want to put in my book and went and bought some supplies tonight and started the actual pages.. Im sure it is nothing to write home to mom about, but I think they look really cute.. I finally decided to put it up for the night .. Im sure the newness will wear off but for now Im so excited.. They will absolutely love it! They dont have many pictures of my kids so they'll love this as a gift.. I cant wait to do my own pictures..

sounds great! but watch out, it's not so much the actual scrapbooking that's addicting... (trust me, haven't scrapped an actual page in at least 2 months) it's the supply collecting that is addicting! maggie

Welcome to a wonderful hobby.

Here is an idea for your parents album. If you children are old enough have them write a note to each parent, in the their own handwriting wishing them a Merry Christmas or just telling what their favorite time with Grandma and Grandpa is. That will be cherished forever. If they cannot write let them draw a picture to add to a page.

Its not about perfection its about the preservation of the memories.
