Scoutmaster gift

In my ds' troop when a boy makes Eagle he gives the scoutmaster a gift. I am trying to help my ds come up with a list of ideas for his scoutmaster gift.

I thought a nice scoutmaster poem framed or on a plaque might be nice, but unsure.

The scoutmaster is an older man who lives alone. He is in poor health and spends a lot of time in the hospital. Last time the said the only thing that helped him was when he was told my ds needed him so ds could finish the Eagle.

Scouts is this man's life. It is all that keeps him going. The doctors have said repeatedly that there isn't really anything else they can do for him.

we gave the mentor pin to the scoutmaster when DS had his Eagle ceremony. I thiunk he really appreciated it..

I would have your son write a nice note to the scoutmaster. Give it to him with a nice framed pic of him and your son. (Or wrap the frame and give him an IOU for a pic at your son's court of honor.)

Congrats to your son! Blessings to the scoutmaster, he sounds like a great person to be around young people.
