Thank you all for your kind thoughts.

Yesterday was a very hard day to get through - but I managed not too bad, considering the state I was in.

There weren't that many of the family who could make it but the ones that he meant the most to were there - myself, my husband and our 2 sons.

He has gone to be with his wife, and my Mum, who he was with for 61 very happily married years. David (my eldest boy) wore his M.B.E. and I wore the decorative version of it. We were a very close family and will miss him very much.

It does help to talk about it - and thanks to all who have sent me messages, they also help a lot.
