I watched it!!! Love Samantha Brown. Since I read you didn't get to watch, I won't say anything specific. Only that I love to watch anything Disney!!! It just puts a smile on your face, doesn't it??![]()
I love to watch anything Disney, too! Just think of all of the hundreds of us Disers who were all tuned in to Travel Channel last night, grinning away when we saw every little place/event/character that we all know and love so much! When you're counting down (we have 77 more days) every little Disney fix helps.
As for the French, way back when I was in high school in St. Pete, it was standard for the higher GPA kids to take French and the lower GPA kids to take Spanish. I have no idea why, but that is the way it was. I was in the smart group, so French I took!
Fast forward to today - no one speaks French and there is a great need for us to speak Spanish. My school has a one-third Hispanic population now, and it is growing.
What I remember from my high school French, pretty much, is the one phrase my teacher used the most...."Fermez la bouche, classe!"
Shut your mouths, basically.
All those 'lower' kids ended up doing the best thing in the long run.
The little Spanish I know is from having been raised an Air Force brat. On-base schools taught everyone Spanish, since there was always a chance we'd be assigned a tour of duty in a Spanish-speaking country.
In any language, however, asking for a Mickey bar has to be a basic phrase - one of the top ten to learn!

Hope you enjoy your visit with your mom, Scott. Jill, John, and Brooklynn will be coming here later today. We're going to celebrate Animal Kingdom's tenth birthday by doing a Pizzafari meal.
Yes, I remember you said you didn't like Pizzafari.
I got Brooklynn a binocular Viewmaster of safari animals, and I'm going to hide plastic zoo animals in the yard and let her go hunt them. I'm hoping to take pictures of all that and have them up later on the TR.
AGREED!!!
